Thermal Reading On Electrical Panel

Record ambient temperature and take digital temperature readings of all accessible circuit breakers while under load using a temperature gun. This process helps identify breakers operating above their maximum rated temperature.

Elevated temperatures may indicate a failing breaker, loose connection, or an electrical circuit with excessive amperage draw. Circuits found to be over-amping may require further troubleshooting and corrective repairs.
